The Trucking Nerd

The trucking nerd is a trucking technology blog published by me, Ben Becker, former CIO of Tradewinds, a medium sized trucking company based in Indiana. I am a devoted technologist who is passionate about technology and it’s application to enhance business and improve peoples lives.

I have ventured out from my CIO role to pickup my career in consulting and pursue some special projects through my company Becker Solutions. If you have a project or custom software implementation, feel free to drop me a line, if I can’t help you, I may be able to point you in the right direction.

I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University and have worked as a consultant in the BI (Business Intelligence) arena prior to becoming the CIO of Tradewinds.

In the little free time being the father of four allows me, I spend a lot of time researching and developing technology ideas.  I enjoy problem solving, writing and enjoy continually learning, hence why I like the ever changing technology industry. I am a huge proponent of collaboration and forming synergies.
